OpenERP's "Send a message" feature allows the user to include Partner(Customer) as a recipient of messages in records like Invoice, Sale Order, Projects etc. This is a very useful feature considering the fact that history of communications and follow ups can be  found along with the record it self.

But at the same time, many people have identified and reported associated inconveniences due to the same feature, because the customers are automatically added as followers of the document after including them in a message. Due to this the partner/customer will receive many further communications related to the document, which is not relevant to the customer.
